“The Dawg” has left American Idol

With the finale of season 12, not only was Candice Glover the new American Idol winner for the 2013 season, but Randy Jackson, also officially left the show. To see the main performances of the night and watch Ryan Seacrest, see link (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/16/american-idol-winner-candice-glover_n_3288608.html?ir=TV)

“’As for the video tribute that played on the finale, Randy joked, ”What is so startling for me is to see from Season 1 and 2, just the dramatic weight loss. How I went from this huge guy to the supermodel I am. It’s freaking crazy. I was like, ‘Yo dawg, you are like a third of yourself’ and Ryan and Simon [Cowell] inspired me to do that,’” (http://ryanseacrest.com/2013/05/17/randy-jackson-reveals-why-he-decided-to-leave-idol-now/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ryan-seacrest-top-stories+%28Ryan+Seacrest+%C2%BB+Top+Stories%29).

The whole episode was amazing. It not only were the performances amazing, but the tribute to Randy was very unique. His main reason for leaving idol includes, “Jackson said in a statement that he's leaving "Idol" to focus on his record label and other business opportunities,” (Associated Press, http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/05/09/randy-jackson-leaving-american-idol/#ixzz2Tgyj6ZZw, 2013).

I will be very interested to see the new season of idol come January, without any original judges on the show, what do you think the reaction will be?
