As I was watching the Golden Globes
and hearing the announcements of the winners looking at the styles and the
different outfits the celebrities wore, I thought, what makes this show so unique
and not in a good way? In my mind, I compared it to the People’s Choice Awards,
MTV Awards, Teen Choice Awards, etc., I came up with one answer- no musical
performances. On most of the other awards shows, the award presentation and speeches
are broken up with performances. I thought they could have had “Let It Go” by Idina
Menzel from the Frozen soundtrack.
Even
though this is a more traditional awards show, it could use a more contemporary
flare. However, it was a great memorable night with some “amazing” speeches!
