A review from September 12, “The band put everything into their performance, with
frontman Jim Adkins constantly interacting with the crowd, telling gig-goers to
high-five each other as they launched into their back catalogue.Their energy
was infectious, and had the audience uncharacteristically dropping their phones
in favour of fist pumps, hand-claps and devil horns,” (http://www.4music.com/news/reviews/11605/Kings-Of-Leon-Jimmy-Eat-World-rock-iTunes-Festival-2013,

“Kings of Leon took to the stage to deafening cheers and launched into recent single Supersoaker before playing their 2004 hit Bucket. This set the tone for the rest of the evening, which was to display the best of their impressive catalogue,” (http://www.4music.com/news/reviews/11605/Kings-Of-Leon-Jimmy-Eat-World-rock-iTunes-Festival-2013, 9/12/2013, News: Kings Of Leon & Jimmy Eat World rock iTunes Festival 2013, Mensah, J).
With the price of concert tickets extremely costly for today’s economy, hosting a month long free festival is a smart way to get fans there and not lose the publics’ interest. Overall, #iTunesFestival has been an extremely successful event, with many major acts performing.
If given the chance, would you fly to London to see and experience @iTunesFestival? Please comment, I look forward to reading your thoughts!
