Netflix is the "New Movie Theatre"

As the movie industry continues to struggle, Netflix gets more successful each day. With more and more people joining each day, and even  Adam Sandler has announced that he is making 4 movies official for Netflix. "Adam Sandler’s landmark deal to produce and star in four feature films for Netflix will not fundamentally alter his longstanding relationship with Sony Pictures," states that Variety article, Cynthia Littleton, 10/6/2014, http://variety.com/2014/film/news/adam-sandler-netflix-deal-wont-end-relationship-with-sony-1201322461/.

With ticket prices rising to an unaffordable amount, this is the only way to go. For a reasonable fee each month you get streaming all mobile devices and Smart TV. However, this is just the facts, what are your thoughts? do you like this? Is this easy? Do you miss the social aspect of going to a movie?

New Movies For Week of 4/25

With some great movies the past weeks, Noah, and RIO 2, seeing a good film is a great option for weekend plans. Even though some traditional springtime activities include walks around the park, going for ice cream, shopping for some new clothes, or seeing for your favorite team play ball, sometimes you need indoor plans when the weather won't cooperate.

This weeks new movies that were being released today include:

 The Other Woman

"After realizing she is not her boyfriend's primary lover, a woman teams up with his wife and plots mutual revenge," (http://www.movieinsider.com/m9844/the-other-woman/, 4/25/2014).
After discovering her boyfriend is married, a woman (Cameron Diaz) tries to get her ruined life back on track. But when she accidentally meets the wife he’s been cheating on (Leslie Mann), she realizes they have much in common, and her sworn enemy becomes her greatest friend. When yet another affair is discovered (Kate Upton), all three women team up to plot mutual revenge on their cheating, lying, three-timing SOB," (http://www.movieinsider.com/m9844/the-other-woman/, 4/25/2014).

The Quiet Ones

"Tells the story of an unorthodox professor (Jared Harris) who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist. Based on the theory that paranormal activity is caused by human negative energy, the rogue scientists perform a series of tests on a young patient, pushing her to the edge of sanity. As frightening occurrences begin to take place with shocking and gruesome consequences, the group quickly realizes they have triggered a force more terrifying and evil than they ever could have imagined," (http://www.movieinsider.com/m9931/the-quiet-ones/, 4/25/2014).

Brick Mansions

"In the criminal underworld of Detroit, the streets are overrun with violence and drugs and the hand of corruption reaches into the lives of everyone; well almost everyone. For Lino (David Belle) every day is a fight to live an honest life. But when a drug lord kidnaps his girlfriend, Lino is forced to team up with Damien Collier (Paul Walker), an undercover cop who’s been tracking this king pin's involvement in something even more sinister – a plot to devastate the entire city," (http://www.movieinsider.com/m9631/brick-mansions/, 4/25/2014).

Locke

"Centers on a man attempting to salvage his life over the course of one car ride.
Ivan Locke (Tom Hardy) has worked hard to craft a good life for himself. Tonight, that life will collapse around him. On the eve of the biggest challenge of his career, Ivan receives a phone call that sets in motion a series of events that will unravel his family, job, and soul," (http://www.movieinsider.com/m12043/locke/, 4/25/2014).

Blue Ruin

"The film follows a mysterious outsider whose quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home to carry out an act of vengeance.
